A few months ago, a type enthusiast visited the former site and asked us,"why don't you have more samples?"
We always appreciate feedback at Baseline Fonts.
For this question, we didn't have a good answer, so we discussed creating a new version that would better represent the foundry and the typefaces we love. What we came up with is :Launch, the version you are now viewing.
Now, users are able to preview all typefaces with the typewidget, and will soon be able to access every font in a typeface on the font family page. Also, we are working to provide static samples in the form of image plates plus downloadable Adobe Acrobat PDFs for anything designers might want to first discuss prior to purchase.
When you are ready to purchase a typeface, the new controls allow you to purchase securely using PayPal, which also accepts virtually every credit card on the planet-then immediately download the files.
We are also planning on sending out newsletters to anyone that registers on the site (don't worry, you can unsubscribe, and we don't share your information with anyone).
While we work on completing the deployment of this site (and even after), please remember that we respond to all correspondence and are more than happy to generate a custom PDF of a typeface you are interested in learning more about.
